No kids zones …

I knew it would only be a matter of time before this began to get some attention. About 8 years ago when we started trying to take Max and Zach out to restaurants, I would feel so uneasy about having them fussing and squirming and making noises or crying. I would have preferred to go to a restaurant geared toward families and especially those with young children, like those described in this article.

I remember telling Lisa that there needs to be “kids” and “non-kids” areas like there is for smoking and non-smoking. She thought I was crazy. I think there is a huge market for this. Charging $10 per child for them to be in a separate room being entertained and fed but not having to have a babysitter would be heaven for me. Wish others felt that way. Pittsburgh is still not child friendly (as well as not being biker friendly — hate trying to bike on these streets), but maybe some day or at least some pockets will develop around here to change that …
